Newfortis Savings and credit Co-operativesociety was started in 1976 with membership of 857 drawn from the teachingfraternity that is Primary schools, Secondary school and Tertiaryinstitutions. The society has alreadyamended its By-laws to open up membership to include other Civil servants allover the Republic of Kenya and expand its catchments area to otherCounties. As at December 2019 ourmembership stood at 14890 and a workforce of 32 staff headed by the ChiefExecutive Officer.
